Outdoor Play

Children love outdoor play, lots of running around using up all that surplus energy.

Often this can be a completely free activity, in the garden or in a playground. But there are also some great outdoor centres - wildlife centres, day trips, theme parks and local attractions.

It's amazing how much more relaxed everyone seems to be out in the open air rather than cooped up inside (especially after a prolonged period of bad weather).
The weekends and holiday periods can often be the hardest, when they are bored and you have run out of ideas... so we have also included some possibilities further afield for bigger special outings.
