Worry arrives on our doorstep along with the stork. As our children grow, the worry doesn't go away, it just changes. We stop worrying about getting them out of nappies and getting them to sleep at night - when they start school we find ourselves trying to help them negotiate friendships - by the time they are teenagers we start worrying about where they are, who they're with, what time they'll be home....in many ways, when our children are older they need us more. We go from being a carer and provider to needing a psychology degree and UN diplomacy skills. Cant find what you are looking for? Look above for our older child features of the day, or the buttons on the left for a full list of our pages. Local listings can also be found using the drop down menu on the right. |
