P.S. Talking of the journalist India Knight - I read a little tip from her recently on the subject of credit crunch beauty and it'd just be mean not to pass it on: The Aspirin Face-mask. Apparently aspirin contains em, something scientific that is also in some very expensive beauty products (you'll have to google for the science bit - I don't care how it works as long as it works). I bought a packet of Aspirin in Superdrug for 16p! Crumble 5 or 6 using

"I'm going to complain" I say regularly to myself. I regularly compose letters in my head in bed - perfect, eloquent letters about stuff that doesn't really matter much: disorganisation in airports, bad service in restaurants, packages that arrive late.The letters never actually get written, never mind sent - I have enough trouble remembering to sign the school forms and turn up to dentist appointments - but they are always good letters. Words seldom fail
